Farmhouse Glam: Why Builder & Designer Partnerships WORK

We are excited to see one of our latest project-babies featured in this week’s CT Post! This is a newly built home in Westport, CT, and our first experience partnering with a Builder on a Spec House. We all have our strengths and weaknesses in the industry. I believe it takes a solid, well rounded and humble team to produce a great home. Alexis Parent Interiors paired with Trudell Homes and it was a true success, inside and out. Builders and Architects can be fantastic, but the truth is, an Interior Designer sees spaces in a different way. Many times builders can miss the mark on finishes, fixtures, millwork, layout…All of the things that make a home functional and inviting. We both took the time to listen to each other and the results show. This magnificent home is now under contract and we are thrilled to announce that Alexis Parent Interiors has been hired by the buyers. We will complete the home with our full decorating, move-in, and project management services. Stay tuned to see this beauty come together over the next few months! Happy Designing!
